Social distance season, the season has a lot of changes in our lives, when the people don’t meet or take care of each other. After about 3 months staying at home, many things have come to my mind. I miss my family, my hometown, my friends, my co-workers, etc. I also miss the fresh air of the trees and the mountain, or the scent of coffee at the cafe.
Staying at home makes me cherish the normal days before and I just think when we can come back to our ordinary life after the social distance period, I will give some gifts to the ones I adore. I have no idea for the gifts, maybe there will be a candle, a picture or a notebook, etc. and a hand written letter by me.
For my plan, the gifts don’t have money value but spiritual value, it will be a small but meaningful gift for people. Moreover, that won’t be just a gift, that will show/express my gratefulness for anyone, who have always helped and checked up on me since the COVID-19 beginning. They always make me feel embraced and consoled from the little things like: “How are you today?”, “Don’t skip your breakfast” or “Remember to drink enough water”. For the people living alone away from home, these are great “gifts” in this trying time.
This is a little meaningful item in my bucket list for the future, hopefully that will become true soon!
